HTC Touch Dual is available now in France, from Mobilux. The handset looks to be an upgraded version of the highly appreciated HTC Touch. It comes with stronger hardware and also a slider form factor to satisfy those who are less keen on using touchscreen for handling their devices at all times. The device uses the easy-type keypad in order to pack all letters and numbers as well and make it easy to type long text messages on the phone. It should work perfectly especially for those who have smaller thumbs, for more precision, as the buttons are extremely small and might pose a problem at some times.

HTC Touch Dual runs on a 400 MHz processor and uses Windows Mobile 6 Professional as well as the TouchFLO interface that HTC decided to pack in all its future smartphones. The 2.6 inch QVGA touchscreen is one of the most important features on this phone and should manage to appeal to just as many people as the HTC Touch phone managed to do.

The phone’s sizes are rather average, as it will fail to break any slimness records with its 15.8 mm in thickness and 120 grams. Still, HTC Touch Dual is a 3G enabled phone, a technology that came with the evolution to slider form. Other than that, it also packs a 2 megapixel camera and a microSD card slot to store a great amount of personal files.

HTC Touch Dual has just hit France and will come at the price of 540 euros, at online retailer Mobilux. The handset has already been available for some time now, in Japan, under the name of FOMA HT110.
