Rogers Wireless, the largest Canadian mobile carrier, has just released two new handsets: Samsung J706 and a white version of Sony Ericsson W200a. Both phones are only available with Pay As You Go plans.
Samsung J706 has features quad-band GSM connectivity (850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) with GPRS and EDGE, a 2 inch TFT display with 128 x 160 pixels and 65K colors, Music player (MP3, AMR, AAC and WMA), Video player, Bluetooth, FM radio, MMS and SMS capabilities, WAP browser, email, USB, Bluetooth, a 1.3 Megapixel camera, calendar, calculator, currency converter and To Do list. The price is $114.99.
W200a offers the following: a 1.8 inch TFT display with 128 x 160 pixels and 65K colors, Walkman player, external speakers, Mega Bass, access to Rogers Music Store, FM radio, MMS, email and Web capabilities, alarm clock, calendar, stopwatch, PC synch, embedded games, a VGA camera with video recording, tri-band GSM connectivity with GPRS, USB, 25MB of internal memory, and a 128MB card. The Pay As You Go prices of Sony Ericsson W200a in white start at $99.99.
