Nokia 5610 XpressMusic to be Available in US Soon

Nokia’s 5610 XpressMusic slider could soon be available in the US with a full feature set. It is ready for full 3G Internet access through AT&T: it should support fast HSDPA Internet access on the 850MHz band.

The phone have a 3.2-megapixel camera, dedicated music controls on its outer face, and a high-capacity microSD slot up to 4GB.

LG Electronics Launches LG-KH1800 in Korea

LG Electronics launches its 13.3mm-thick 3G phone ‘LG-KH1800’ dubbed as ‘Orange color phone’ in Korea market, which enhanced orange colored keypad.

By adopting an additional multitasking button, you can use SMS service, telephone directory, and alarm setting, even while calling.

Other features included its 3G WCDMA automatic roaming service, MP3 playback, text viewer, camera and electronic dictionary function.

It is expected to be available for 352,000(KRW) via KTF telecom.

Sharp to Launch W61SH Next Year

For you in Japan, get ready for this. Sharp expects to launch its cycloid style mobile phone called W61SH in Japan market, which supports 1-Seg for mobile.

Adopting 2.8-inch wide display, the W61SH supports up to 2,000:1 contrast ratio and Super Vivid engine. Nice. It is expected to be available in January 2008.

Toshiba expects to launch its slide type 3G mobile phone called 920T in Japan market. It comes with built-in 1GB memory. Supporting up to 5.3 hours recording time, it features 1-Seg for mobile, 3.24M camera and GPS function.

NTT DoCoMo and Fujitsu to Launch 3G Mobile Phone for Kids

NTT DoCoMo and Fujitsu will launch the new FOMA F801i. After the successful SA800i model, also designed for children, now NTT DoCoMo brings another child-friendly phone, packed with safety and convenience features. It will be available starting December 20.

FOMA F801i is manufactured by Fujitsu and offers a high level of security as well as a facile usability. It is ergonomically designed to be used by small hands and its body is waterproof, withstanding accidental contacts with water. The phone comes with an amulet-style remote controller, a 100-decibel safety alarm, a high-intensity, easily visible LED, and GPS functions that allow parents to know exactly where their kids are.

All the handsets released in the FOMA series by NTT DoCoMo are 3G-enabled, meaning the F801i is also a 3G device. The phone measures 105 x 48 x 17.8 millimeters and weighs 120 grams. It can provide up to 185 minutes of talk-time and up to 570 hours of stand-by. The display is a 2.7 inch QVGA one, perfect for the not so perfect 1.3 Megapixel camera. There are four colors available: white, black, light blue and orange.

There’s no word about pricing yet, nor about a possible release in other countries.
