Samsung has just unveiled the D880 DuoS mobile phone. At first sight, the handset looks like it has nothing special to offer, but specifications show it is a dual SIM device, a feature which has proved to be highly popular until now.

Samsung Beat (SGH-T539) has been finally announced for a release with T-Mobile. Samsung Beat is a clamshell that brings a simple and modest design, but also includes one colorful feature that also brings out the fact that it is actually a music phone. The external speaker is bright green, quite unusual, as orange and white have been used until now to stand for great quality sound. The handset also includes some easy access buttons that make it extremely comfortable to handle the playlist without even having to take the phone out from the pocket.

Samsung Confirms i550 GPS Phone

Samsung has now confirmed the existence of the i550 GPS phone. Aside from a built-in GPS receiver, its main highlight is likely to be its 3.2-megapixel camera, which is equipped with both flash and autofocus. The phone is also capable of EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA broadband, and connects locally via Bluetooth 2.0 or a USB 2.0 cable.

The i550 is expected to ship in November, but right now it looks like it won’t be coming to North America just yet.
