Motorola ROKR E6 Transformers Phone

MotorolaThe Transformers theme seems to have been really appealing to many people out there, as the number of devices using it has considerably increased. Images of a Motorola ROKR E6 Transformers phone have surfaced recently, although there are little specifications on what this device is actually capable of doing other than “transforming” into a robot.

This should be classified under “Toys”, as there are low chances for this Motorola ROKR E6 phone to actually work. It’s impressive to see, though, that some people went to a great amount of effort of developing such an impressive device. Mobile phone producers jumped at the idea and used it in many of their devices, as it proved to be highly popular and, at the same time, with great potential for profits.

Palm Cancels Foleo Mobile Companion

Although it said this day wouldn’t come, Palm has officially announced the cancellation of the Foleo. The Linux-based pseudo laptop was facing criticism from all angles and eventually the company couldn’t justify its release.

Palm CEO Ed Colligan broke the news on Palm’s official blog late on Tuesday after the close of the stock market. Previous reports had suggested a delay in its release, but Colligan has instead cancelled the project.

Yahoo Interested in Bringing Its Own Phone Too

The Gphone is so yesterday’s news. Yahoo might just take away from Google’s glory with their own plans on developing a personal mobile phone. Yahoo is a search engine too, so why shouldn’t this work? No logic in that.

Yahoo might have felt that its efforts are not appreciated as much as they should and that Google’s lead on them is getting too big. The solution was that of keeping a close track of their work and dimming the difference as much as possible. In fact, the company might have been working on such a concept for even longer than Google has, but has managed to keep a low basis on it and make less of a fuss about it.
